thank you for shopping at harris teeter

If there is one thing I have mastered from being a college student for nearly 8 years it is the art of grocery shopping on a budget. I know that as much as I want fresh produce, it's better to buy it frozen or get it from the farmers market in the summer; while the name brand packaging may be more appealing than the generic, its all the same on the inside (with the exception of peanut butter); and you can plan a week of meals easily based on what's on sale.

Hey- thanks for dropping by and leaving such a nice comment. Here's one right back atcha- I chuckled my way through your doodled groceries- I love it that you scribbled in the prices :) Can I eat with you? I can't find edamamme up here anywhere! And lastly please give me a prep course on shopping for cheap. I was in college for 6 years- but a lot of the thriftiness has slipped my mind. Thanks, and much apprciated. *winks*

Oh this is genius! Drawing your shopping!! Brilliant. I love to see what people have in their baskets. I say it's because I am an artist and therefore need to observe people - of course it's just because I'm nosey! It's brilliant and as always the drawing is fantastic.
