a bare-backed-bear

I don't want to scare you, but I think I may be part bear.
a bare-backed-bear
I love to sleep.
I'm a little moody...just a little bit.
I have big feet.
And I could eat salmon and berries all day long.

A little side note : following the completion of this drawing, I turned up the glass I was using for my watercolors and took a big gulp. Not because I'm part bear...but because I'm part idiot. Yuck. Sadly, this is not the first time I've done this, nor do I think it will be the last.

Maybe paint water will be the magic potion to turn you back into a human? Although I'm sure Edgar thinks of you as his little teddy bear. ;)

Hmm... so you'll be a little brown on the inside as well as the outside.

I think you'd be so warm to cuddle up to in the winter! Lucky Edgar.

I've done that too. And it didn't even taste that bad...

okay, so do I leave this comment or not? hmmmm? let's just say I'm glad you clarified the image because I was starting to think about sending you a care package ... of razors and Nair. ;-)

At least you can laugh. That's half the battle!

I don't know which to laugh at the most, your post or the comments here . I'm so glad you are here to make us laugh at ourself and each other

Yes, but have you dipped your watercolor brush in your mug of coffee/tea by accident?
;-)

I think we are all part bear because I have the very same diet. Hmmm, I'd better hibernate for awhile. Yuck, stay away from dirty watercolor water!

Aei... ick. Here's hoping you didn't use any cadmuiums!

I have been known to dip my brush in my tea. And then ten minutes later wonder what that funny flavor is...

Cute painting!

You're still smarter than the average bear!

Ops! about the tasty water! Dipping the brush in my coffee occurs pretty often :) The drawing is really cute!

I saw this and couldn't help thinking of the (is it Charmin?) toilet paper bears, which grossed me out just a bit. But I love the painting so much anyway!

I think we all do that on occassion... or at least, most artists do, it's just some, without their sense of humour, don't admit to it!
I love your style, and the lightness of this drawing! Fabulous!

Paint water, oh, how I miss it... lol! I haven't painted in a looooong time, but I used to, all the time. I also took big gulps of paint water, eeewww! :)

Nope, never done that myself (eh, well, maybe once...or twice. My cat thinks paint water is a delicacy.
