I love it!!! There are some design blogs I check once every couple of days or when I have time, but your's I check at least everyday. Your sketches brighten my Mondays :)
yay! Here's to Monday! Cheers
This is too much of a coincidence not to share. My monday started out with coffee, but in a different form: I like to read a bit in the morning, and my current book is "The Gargoyle" by Andrew Davidson. This passage I read today:"...she yanked the jar [of instant coffee] out of my hands, grabbed a spoon, and headed back down to her workshop. I thought about it for a few moments, telling myself that she couldn't possibly ... and then peered down from the top step to see that indeed she was.Between drags on her cigarette she was thrusting the instant coffee into her mouth, chomping at the crystals like a baseball player working over a wad of chewing tobacco, and washing it all down with the brewed coffee in her oversized mug."How's that for a jolt? LOL...anyway, I came here via Terry's Ink blog and so glad I did. Love your drinking vessels. Will visit again to see what's up next!
Thank you! Hope you had a splendid Monday as well! As always, totally love your sketches!! :)
@Christy- OMG! Eewww! I'll have to look up that book. That's interesting.
Oh gosh Christy...what a horrible thought!?!Kelley--comments like yours take the place of caffeine in my book. Thanks to everyone who visits!!!!
I'm a chai tea girl all the way!
It's sad, but I think I've developed gastric reflux (sorry...TMI, I know), and I'm having to cut waaay down on my coffee intake. The bright side is that I drink more green tea now.I'm going to have to show this sketch to ds#2. While ds#1 is honing his ceramics skills Friday mornings (that's our art morning), ds#2 has been set to sketching and I'm having him sketch shapes like those mugs right now. Maybe he'll be inspired that a professional artist draws the same things he does? =)
