touched

This is all I've been able to think about for the last three days. All I've thought about.

IMAG0013

With this comes heightened resolve to :
: nurture relationships with those I care for and who care for me :
: live in the moment, finding beauty in small things :
: focus energy on doing what I love and what has meaning :

If you do nothing else today, please watch this video.

Oh, Suzanne... thank you for sharing this. I'm not a crier, and that video brought tears to my eyes. Life is so precious and the times we have with our loved ares are so few and fleeting, even if we are able to spend years together. May we all become more aware of the things we take for granted, and seek out those little moments that are like gold dust in our hands.

Suzanne,
I came across her blog but had not seen pictures. What a story and you're right every moment counts.

I am speechless, but can only say that not even the most intense of fires can erase her ineradicable beauty.

Suzanne, This woman and this blog have been something to me this past year--I started reading it when she was in a coma and her sister was re-posting old posts--it's just been pretty amazing to watch her return and become more beautiful actually, it's like before she was taking in some of life and now she's just gathering it all in her arms, imploring the rest of us to really, really, please, please do the same.

Wow Suzanne, just wow. Thanks for sharing this, as I probably wouldn't have come across it otherwise. How powerful and moving...and what a reminder to cherish those you love and the time you have with them. I am going to go squeeze my babies right now.

Thank you, Suzanne. I was already in a reflective mood after reading about Marta's near-death experience here:

I am crying watching this. Events like these, although filled with inexplicable pain for those involved, help us collectively see the opportunities missed and the things taken for granted in our lives. What an incredible story, and certainly one I will carry with me for a long time.
