airtime

While attempting a little studio organization, I ran across this sketch from this summer's trip to Mexico. What I'd give to be back on that plane destined for sunshine! However...I do remember getting a little grossed out as I drew [and thereby inspected] the suspicious matter in the hair of the woman seated in front of me. Still not sure what it was...

that's the question, isn't it? there could have been ANYTHING in that woman's hair. air travel stories provide some of the best creative fodder, i'm convinced of it. my husband and i both used to travel full time for work and we still compare old travel stories. he always got the better scenes, though. my favorite is the time he watched some guy tried to score a seat in first class, and when the rightful owner showed up, the imposter flipped out, threw chicken bones (we assume they were chicken bones but again one can never be sure) in the aisle and cursed the befuddled ticketholder in front of the entire plane.

I have to say that Aimee's chicken bone throwing story beats your macaroni-odd-bits in the woman's hair story. ;D

Public places kind of gross me out sometimes. :}

yeah! thats quite a story...I have seen some incredible mini plays on the public busses too. I saw an elegant lady sitting by herself and it took me two minutes to realize that she was talking to herself.
