a man ahead of his time

madmenpatrick
This is a portrait I worked on a couple of weeks ago for Patrick, who wanted a creative profile image to generate attention for his entry in Banana Republic's Mad Men Casting Call. In addition to paying tribute to the drawing style popular along Madison Avenue during the show's era, we developed a complete back story for Patrick's character : Edward Francis George.

Unfortunately, Mad Men didn't appreciate our creativity as much as we appreciated our creativity :) and disqualified us for submitting a drawing rather than a photo. Oh well, you win some, you lose some!

This is awesome, too bad they were not visionaries. It's their loss.

Patrick's "stone face killa mode."

What?! They obviously have no taste. We, me and all your fans, would be happy to write to them and complain. ;)

They won't be starting up their own rogue agency with thinking like that, will they ?

Great fingers.

The irony of it all. Bet they think of themselves as "creative" people, too.
