dreams of olives

We've finally decided to turn our attention to what was once my...
sad studio

Luckily, I've already got a much happier studio up and running across the hall, but we still need a welcoming place for guests. For this room, we're going for a slightly retro feel [surprise, surprise] with olive green walls and accents of white, red, tan and black. Here's some photos Edgar has pulled for inspiration:

Sadly, I can't locate the source of a number of these images. If you happen to know any of them, please let me know and I'll update the info!

There is a lot of work to be done in this room, including a new floor! Tonight it begins!

In other news, in coming weeks, as we continue to work on the house, I've been asked to review a few products from CSN stores. If you're not familiar with the company, they sell an incredibly wide range of home products from barstools to bedroom suits. I look forward to this challenge and hope you'll find it interesting as well.
