no, they're not identical

Edgar and I have been working for months now, struggling to define how Max + Miles should look in cartoon form. Yes, I know...isn't this the dilemma that every new parent faces? Anyway, today I think we've finally stumbled upon something. maxmilescartoonversion1
I'm certain they will continue to be refined...an extra roll here, another dimple there...but it's a start. Mickey Mouse wasn't completed in a day, afterall!

And as for the title of this post, you wouldn't believe the number of times we've been asked this.

It's the bane of every family with multiples. My brother and I still get asked if we're identical!

I'm sure watching these two evolve in real life is a million times more exciting, but it is fun to see the "character development" in illo mode!

How adorable! They're identical, right? :)

I get asked all the time if mine are twins - they're almost 2 years apart...

I reckon you have come up with the perfect cartoon (based on your photo of the 4th Oct)...love it.

Try having kids who are 2 years...count 'em: 23 whopping months!...apart in age, and almost everyone we meet ask if they're twins. My older son is not amused. ;D

How cute that Miles looks more like you and Max looks more like Edgar!
