the terrible twos x two

max_shoe This drawing, both in its content and poor sentence structure, is really a metaphor for how our life has been over the past month.  It almost seems as though a  switch was flipped the minute the boys  blew out the candles  attempted to eat the candles on their second birthday cake, and with each passing day they are testing us more and more.

Bonjour,

Vos tendres bambins deviennent des petits coquins !... juste normaux !
Et puis après tout cette chaussure était à lui !! sourire.
Joli dessin !
Gros bisous à vous 3!

Suzanne, you are so right. Two isn't easy at all, and it keeps you on your toes since you never know what to anticipate...and I've only had a single two year old at a time! Hang in there...it truly gets easier. The independence of a three-year old is delightful! (Their surprising new verbal abilities might throw you for a loop every now and then, though!)

Oh, yeah. I spent the weekend with my two year old niece. With three older sisters, you might think she'd be used to not getting all the attention, but no such luck.

In their own little worlds with their own crazy reasoning. But so funny sometimes! Just gotta let go and laugh in those moments they're driving you nuts!

Well it is known as the 'terrible two's' when kiddies reach the age of 2....you just have this phase X2! Good luck ツ

Ah yes...this is the time in my own kids lives when I began to recite an oft repeated phrase throughout their lives..."this too shall pass, this too shall pass". I can't imagine dealing with it doubled! I wish you much fortitude and patience in the days ahead!

Thank you ALL for your reassurances on this one. I feel somewhat guilty even sharing this as we've been so lucky to have such happy, healthy boys...but they are certainly a handful, nevertheless.
